About POSH ESTATE SALES

POSH Estate Sales has been in business since 2011, POSH conducted over 250 sales since then in and around the Charleston, SC area and throughout the Low Country. 

Our sales have always been considered to be very  high quality, with knowledgeable sales help and fair pricing policies for both Client and Customer.

We will achieve our marketing and advertising objectives in many ways and include: 

Estate sale listing with photos on EstateSales.Net, EstateSales.org and Estatesale.com 

Estate Sale listing with photos on numerous social networks including Nextdoor, Facebook, Craigslist, garagesale.com and others. 

Advanced metatags and keyword enriched website and improved SEO and influencer marketing and using business to business (B2B) marketing resources. WRUW SALES also uses Google Adsense advertising. 

Estate sales pre-sale and notification to local estate sales enthusiasts through email, phone, Facebook, Intagram and X. 

Estate Sale Signs and a Banner posted on streets from main streets in and around the area and in front of the home. 

Preferred customer emails to past qualified buyers and area collectors and antique dealers. 

Estate sale listing with photos on Craigslist Charleston.

The following diminishing scale will be used to determine the total service fee charged and is based on the gross dollar volume of the sale. The more quality items the lower the fee and vice versa and if after our first meeting more than expected items have been removed, the fee will go up or Posh Estate Sales may decline the sale. The following is the estimated fee structure: 

Gross Sales up to $5,000.00 will be figured at a 35% - 40% service fee 

Gross Sales of $5,001.00 and Up will be figured at 32% - 38% service fee 

The cost of paid advertising, as identified above is also paid for by the Client, over and above the commission and is estimated not to exceed $ 200.00 and will be deducted from sale’s total.

The following is Posh Estate Sales’ recommended price reduction policy and based on a Three (3) Day sale (unless discussed with Client for needed discounts): 

1st Day - No more than a 10-15% reduction in price, 

2ndDay- approximately 15% - 30% off, 

3rdDay – approximately up to 50% off or whatever is needed to get the items sold. 

If a customer wants to offer less than a price based on a reduction policy or the client’s reserve price, POSH ESTATE SALES will contact the client with customer’s offer and it is the client’s decision to accept or reject the offer.

The client may participate in the pricing of the items, but the final price per item will be based on years of knowing market values and what the items will sell for. 

Our pricing strategies will be based on current economic conditions, past recorded sales of similar and comparable items, age, condition, and desirability of an item. The overall of the mix of categories present in the sale, with the more categories represented will bring in more buyers and result in higher sales. 

There is no promise what will sell or what it will sell for, but WhatRUWorth Sales will take the best positive steps to ensure the sale's success.

The job that you do is an urgent-need type of work. I was my mother's executor and when I was faced with a massive cleanup, I hired a firm (in California). Being responsible for dispensing with "Mom and Dad's" stuff is too much for even the strong. In today's world your work is necessary for the mental and emotional well being of your clients. My friend and I came from Rowland NC and were able to make a pleasant day despite the wet weather. Since I have known you I really enjoyed coming to the sales and getting wonderful deals and thank you Candy for great bargains as I told you you remind me of my mother who used to take me to the market and there she would make deals and I was so embarrassed as a kid.
